Everyday care, made approachable

🏥

Wellness days

Ask about vaccinations, heartworm testing, microchips, and nail trims at scheduled clinics.

🐾

Arrive prepared

Bring a Monroe County ID. Keep dogs on non-retractable leashes and cats in secure carriers.

☀

Check the next clinic

Wellness events may have different locations. Call to confirm dates, services, and capacity.

Spay & neuter

Surgery is by appointment. Bring current core-vaccine and rabies records; the clinic can explain what is required and whether vaccines need to be given. Microchipping is included in surgery pricing, with an exception for optional TNVR chips.

01

Contact the clinic

Tell the team about your pet and request an appointment.

02

Confirm the details

Ask about prices, vaccination records, and preparation instructions.

03

Follow your care plan

Use the pre- and post-surgery instructions supplied for your animal.

Community cats: TNVR

The clinic offers no-cost trap-neuter-vaccinate-return surgery for feral cats from mile markers 0–70. Arrange an appointment and complete the required responsibility or property-permission paperwork.

Plan the trapping and transport

Cats must arrive in secure humane traps. The shelter does not hold trapped cats before surgery or overnight afterward. Ask the clinic about trap availability, deposits, and check-in/pickup arrangements.

Service prices & planning

Review the published price sheets, then confirm the current charges with the clinic.
